  1. I was very surprised to find out Carmichael was the MPD in the truck series. I never would have thought he'd be the one to get it. Colin Braun is my favorite truck driver and I voted for him in hopes he'd get MPD before moving up to the Nationwide series. As for the Nationwide series, I figured either Kyle or Carl would get it. I was hoping a Nationwide series only driver would get it though. My pick was Allgaier.

  2. Really Carmichael is the MPD in the truck series? That's a shocker. It makes me wonder if his success in other racing isn't why he got the nod. I just don't see him being popular among the NASCAR crowd.

As for Keselowski this one doesn't shock me at all. I wonder if he still would have won had he not driven for Jr. Motorsports. Let's face it a large portion of his fan base is comprised of the Jr Nation.

I the truck series I would have gone for Matt Crafton in the truck series. In the Nationwide Series my vote went to Kyle though if I had to chose a non cup driver I would have went with Allgaier also.

  3. I think a reason Carmichael might have gotten MPD is because he drove for Harvick, but I am probably wrong about that. haha. Like you said, Katy, it probably had something to do with his success in other forms of racing.

  4. Hey Katy, we'll see how popular he is next year when he's driving a Dodge and has NO connection at all to Junior lol.

And Whitney, I was kind of wondering the same thing about the Harvick connection. Then again when Matt Crafton drove for him, no one really seemed to know who the heck he was :-)
