Chase drivers embark on media tour

It's a busy week ahead for the 12 drivers in the 2010 Chase for the Sprint Cup. With the Chase field now set, the drivers will be making the rounds on the talk show circuit in New York City.

They've been known to pop up on "Regis and Kelly" (remember the multiple pie-throwing attempts to set a new Guiness World Record?), help David Letterman with his famous "Top 10 List" and play games with Jimmy Fallon.

A media day has been set for Manhattan's London Hotel on Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. During the event, pre-Chase interviews will be conducted with top seed Denny Hamlin, reigning Sprint Cup champion Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, Tony Stewart, Greg Biffle, Jeff Gordon, Carl Edward, Jeff Burton, Matt Kenseth and Clint Bowyer.

To make sure you don't miss your favorite driver, check back with Skirts and Scuffs. We will compile the TV appearances for the 12 Chase drivers once they have been announced.

Also stay tuned for the next 10 weeks as the ladies of Skirts and Scuffs bring you exciting coverage for the 2010 Chase, starting Friday as the Chase kicks off at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Jimmie Johnson on Oprah: Jimmie Johnson will appear on a segment of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" during today's final season premiere. According to Johnson's official Facebook page, the four-time Cup champion heads to Springfield, Mo., "to surprise a unique guy who not only loves NASCAR - but he loves Oprah too." This spring, Johnson teamed up with Oprah against distracted driving as part of her "No Phone Zone" campaign. To catch today's season premiere, check your local listings for channels and show times.

Top 12 crew chiefs to appear on live radio broadcast: On Wednesday, the top 12 crew chiefs in the Chase will appear on the annual "NASCAR Performance Live" Chase Special radio show. The one-hour event will be broadcast in front of a live audience at the NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, N.C. The event is free and open to fans. The show, hosted by Larry McReynolds and Steve Park, will be broadcast nationally on Motor Racing Networks (MRN) affiliates at 7 p.m. ET and on NASCAR Sirius Network at 10 p.m. ET.
