NASCAR is going where everything is bigger and better - Texas!The Nationwide and Sprint Cup series head to Texas Motor Speedway, a 1.5 mile quad-oval track. Quad-oval means the front straightaway projects outward ever so slightly. The turns have 24-degree banking.
The winner rides into the sunset not only with a cowboy hat, but gets to fire off a pair of pistols. Which driver will find his way to Victory Lane this weekend? Stay tuned.
The Sprint Cup Series will roll out Sunday for the Samsung Mobile 500. Jeff Gordon is the defending spring race winner and Kurt Busch claimed victory at the fall race.
Due to inclement weather, the O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 Nationwide race was postponed to Sunday. Kyle Busch swept both Nationwide races at Texas last year.
The Camping World Truck Series is off until the May 2 race at Kansas Speedway.
