The three top-tier series in NASCAR head to Texas Motor Speedway. Everything is bigger in Texas, including anticipation for the eighth race of the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship. The points battle between the top 3 is the closest it's ever been in the history of the playoffs.

The 1.5-mile quad-oval boasts a variety of winners. In the last nine Sprint Cup races at Texas, there have been eight different victors. Carl Edwards, with three wins, and Jeff Burton, with two victories, are the only multiple winners at Texas. Edwards has been the only driver to pull a sweep at Texas (in 2008), something spring race winner Denny Hamlin will try to achieve in Sunday's AAA Texas 500. A win for Hamlin would give him an advantage in the Chase title race and possibly vault him atop Jimmie Johnson in the points standings. Defending fall race winner is Kurt Busch.

In the Nationwide Series, Saturday's O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge marks defending champion Kyle Busch's 200th Nationwide start and offers him yet another opportunity to make history. Busch has won the last five Nationwide events at Texas. If he wins Saturday, he will become the first driver in the series' history to win six consecutive events at a single track.

We could also see Brad Keselowski clinch the 2010 Nationwide Series championship Saturday. All Keselowski has to do is finish 21st or better to win his first NASCAR title.

In the Camping World Truck Series, Kyle Busch's win allowed Kyle Busch Motorsports to pass Germain Racing in the owner points standings. With Germain driver and points leader Todd Bodine the defending winner of the spring, and Busch the defending winner of last year's fall event, odds are fans will see a good battle for the finish in Friday's WinStar World Casino 350k.
