Juan Pablo Montoya and wife expecting their third child

The NASCAR baby boom has netted another driver. Juan Pablo Montoya announced on Twitter on Thursday that he and his wife, Connie, are expecting their third child:

@jpmontoya: By the way the wife is pregnant with our 3rd child!!! Very happy about it!!!!

The baby is due in July. Montoya and Connie were married in October 2002. They have two children, Sebastian, 4, and Paulina, 3. If you follow Montoya on Twitter, Connie tweets on her husband's account on race days with updates of his progress.

Montoya is the latest Sprint Cup driver to be preparing for a new addition to the family. Four-time champion Jimmie Johnson and his wife, Chandra, are awaiting the birth of their first child also in July. Carl Edwards and his wife, Kate, will welcome a daughter in February, while Elliot Sadler and his wife, Amanda, are expecting a son in March.

Two NASCAR personalities rang in the new year with a visit from the stork. ESPN pit reporter Shannon Spake and her husband, Jerry McSorley, delivered twin sons, Brady and Liam, on Jan. 1. K&N Pro Series East (formerly Camping World Series East) driver Steve Park and his wife, Jessica, welcomed a son, Jayden Robert, on Jan. 2.

Skirts and Scuffs would like to send our congratulations to Juan Pablo and Connie on the upcoming birth of their child!
