Bristol, TN (February 3, 2010)- Graceway Pharmaceuticals®, LLC along with Billy Ballew Motorsports announce the continuation of their partnership for the 2010 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Season.
Graceway Pharmaceuticals, headquartered in Bristol, TN joined forces with Billy Ballew Motorsports in 2009, at Bristol Motor Speedway, sponsoring all three of the team’s entries.
Graceway remained the primary sponsor on the No. 15 and the associate sponsor on the No. 51 entry for the remainder of the 2009 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season.
In 2010, Aric Almirola will be the driver of the No. 51 Graceway Pharmaceuticals®, LLC Toyota Tundra. Nate Monteith will join Almirola in a second Graceway sponsored Tundra for Billy Ballew Motorsports in seven of the 2010 truck series events. Graceway Pharmaceuticals will also be the associate sponsor on the No. 09 James Finch NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car with Aric Almirola piloting the entry in 2010.
“Graceway is thrilled to once again team up with Billy, Aric and Nate for the 2010 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series as well as starting a new relationship with James Finch and Phoenix Racing as an associate sponsor for the No. 09 Sprint Cup Series car. Billy and Aric were able to bring a tremendous amount of attention to Graceway’s Actinic Keratosis (AK) Awareness program in 2009 due to their ability to continuously run at the front of the pack,” Greg Jones, Senior Vice President, Business Development at Graceway Pharmaceuticals said. “We believe Billy Ballew Motorsports with Aric at the wheel is going to be the team to beat in 2010 and Nate will experience a break-out year. We are also excited to continue to raise awareness of AK through our continued sponsorship in the NASCAR Truck & Sprint Cup Series.”
“We are extremely excited pleased about the continued partnership with Graceway Pharmaceuticals,” Billy Ballew said. “Greg (Jones), Ben (Blessing) and all the employees of Graceway have been absolutely fantastic to work with and we are looking forward to continued success with the venture. We are fortunate to have Aric Almirola and Nate Monteith in the stable this season with Graceway as the sponsor. Our goal is to continue to run upfront and bring Graceway Pharmaceuticals to victory lane 2010.”
Aric Almirola began driving for Billy Ballew Motorsports NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team at Texas Motor Speedway in June 2009. The young driver posted seven top-five and 10 top-10 finishes in just 16-starts for the independent team owner. Almirola recorded the closest margin of victory at Talladega Superspeedway, after pushing his Billy Ballew Motorsports teammate to the win, giving the team its first one-two finish in their 300th NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start.
“The most significant factor for me is that Graceway saw the efforts of this Billy Ballew Motorsports team,” Aric Almirola said. “The last half of the 2009 season we proved that we are a Championship caliber team and good enough to consistently run in the top-5 week in and week out and we don’t plan on running any differently this year. With Graceway’s sponsorship I believe we can go out there, win races and contend for a championship.”
Nate Monteith will also pilot a Billy Ballew Motorsports entry in seven NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events starting at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May. He has two previous starts for Ballew at Bristol Motor Speedway.
The AKAwareness.com design will return this year. Graceway’s sponsorship is part of a national public education campaign to raise awareness of actinic keratosis (AK) — a potential early warning sign of skin cancer — as well as the long-term consequences of sun damage over a lifetime. It is estimated that about 10 million Americans have AK, a common pre-cancer that often develops on skin frequently exposed to the sun.
“The AK Awareness program is very important to me & I am excited to have it back on the truck this
year,” Almirola said. “I have the opportunity to educate people about AK, & remind them to always use sunscreen and to see a dermatologist for regular skin checks, especially if they notice something abnormal.”
